Pick the edition that fits the meeting
SiGMA South Asia is scheduled for 30 November–2 December 2026. Global Game Connect 2027 is scheduled for 24–25 March 2027. Both organisers list Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, Colombo, but each event has its own programme and registration. GGC’s agenda shows 23 March separately as arrival and welcome. Check the organiser’s day-by-day programme before planning travel or promising a meeting.
Give each edition a goal that helps your business choose. A platform team may need a short list of game-content providers, while a payments team may want answers about merchant onboarding or reconciliation. Use the correct organiser’s agenda, exhibitor list and floor plan to identify the people who can answer. Confirm a participant’s attendance and meeting location directly.
Send a meeting request that can be accepted
Try this structure: “We are reviewing game-content integration for [market]. Could we meet for 20 minutes at [edition] to discuss [specific question]? I can share our current platform and test requirements. Would [two local time options] work for the right technical or commercial colleague?” Keep the request brief and leave time between appointments.
For your own calendar, record the edition, venue, day, local time, contact, question and confirmation status. Keep a requested meeting separate from a confirmed slot. Check whether the venue or badge arrangements allow the proposed meeting location.
- Open the correct organiser page and check the agenda date.
- Confirm the named person, place and Colombo local time.
- Bring one question and one item you can share.
Carry a useful result back to the team
After the meeting, record the concrete need, material promised, responsible person and follow-up date. If a supplier offers technical documentation, ask who will review it and what evidence would justify a pilot. If the discussion was exploratory, record the next question and wait for a reply before adding it to the active pipeline. Use the organiser for admission and the participant for the meeting itself.
Your working checklist
- Compare the two Colombo editions on the right dates
- Request and confirm one specific meeting
- Capture the decision owner and follow-up evidence
